Travi rescued cat

I will add a picture to this post soon, but I wanted to tell you about Travi our cat.

Travi was one of two kittens born of a cat in our garage. As soon as they were weaned the mother deserted them. We found a home for one and Travi adopted us.

Travi is short for the Spanish word Traviesa which means "stinker, brat, spoiled" or something like that. This cat is spoiled.

First, she is a con. Anytime there is something in it for her she comes to us. For example she "loves" me when I eat ice cream because she expects to lick the bowl.

Second, she wants attention when she wants it. For example when I am walking down the hall she gets in front of me, stops, rolls over on her back expecting me to stop walking and lean down to give her attention.

She persists in dong this even though I have never once given in to this behavior.
